The Hernando County Sheriff's Office announced that two Citrus County corrections officers have been arrested. The arrests follow an investigation into the two corrections officers who had been suspected of selling narcotics. The corrections officers had also sold fentanyl to undercover detectives. According to reports, the Hernando County Sheriff's Vice and Narcotics unit served a search warrant at a Royal Highlands residence located in Brooksville. The two corrections officers, Matthew Devorak and Michael Smith were both present during the execution of the search warrant. Smith was found to be in possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. Orange County -- The state attorneys announced that a trial date has been set for Stephan Sterns, the suspect wanted in connection with the disappearance of 13-year-old Madeline Soto. Motorcycle rider lives up to his license plate, runs from deputies

Florida --  A motorcycle rider lived up to his license plate when he led Volusia county deputies on a high speed chase. According to the arrest affidavit, the chase reached speeds above to 145 mph. Deputies said Austin Jarvis, 19,  taunted them as he fled from a traffic stop. More than three agencies participated in the high speed chase including a helicopter. Jarvis is facing a plethora of charges including being in possession of a fraudulent license plate that reads "WILL RUN."
