Citrus County — Have your allergies been out of control lately?
Health officials say the pollen count in Citrus County is high and it is expected to get worse.
While most states have a winter that prevents plants from blooming around this time of year, Florida is just the opposite and is ranked one of the highest for causing allergy issues due to pollen.
Researchers say the best thing you can do is keep your windows closed and wash your clothes as soon as possible if you come into contact with pollen.
